As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role is well suited to someone with some relevant experience who enjoys being hands-on, supporting multiple projects, and playing a key part in making events happen.
The Role
The Operations Coordinator supports our Project Managers with the planning and delivery of events and exhibitions, helping to ensure the operational side of projects runs smoothly. The role combines logistics coordination, supplier liaison, and financial administration, and is ideal for someone looking to build on their existing experience within events, operations, or a similar environment.
You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from preparation and planning through to live event delivery and breakdown. The role may include attending live events and exhibitions, with occasional travel and overnight stays.
This is not a management role, but it is a position of responsibility where attention to detail, reliability, and initiative are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the coordination of logistics for events and exhibitions
- Liaising with suppliers, sourcing quotes, and coordinating services and deliveries
- Managing materials and supplies, including ordering and tracking stock
- Maintaining inventory, storage, and transport requirements
- Assisting with cost tracking, budgets, and project financial reporting
- Processing invoices and expense information
- Working closely with Project Managers and internal teams to meet deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- · Experience in an operations, coordination, administration, or events-related role
- · Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- · Clear and confident communication skills
- · Comfortable working with budgets, cost tracking, and financial administration
- · Proactive, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment
- · Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-moving, deadline-driven setting
- · Willing to attend live events and travel occasionally
- · Confident using MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- · Able to work a minimum of 3 days per week in our Dalgety Bay office
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience within events, exhibitions, or live projects
- · A full UK driving licence
