Business Development Manager – Film
Speakeasy is one of the UK’s leading corporate film and event production companies with over 25 years’ experience producing award-winning communications for some of the world’s largest private, public and third sector organisations.
We are looking for a self-motivated and accomplished Business Development professional to help us grow the film production side of the business, including both direct-to-client corporate work and branded content produced through the Loudmouth brand. Building on our unrivalled back catalogue of clients and projects, the successful candidate will pro-actively identify new opportunities and strategies, researching prospects and bring new clients and services on board.
From an agency or production company background, you will have a solid understanding of the corporate and branded content markets, as well as proven experience in producing winning tenders, pitches and sales presentations. A knowledge of the production process would also be an advantage, as would the business opportunities emerging from new digital and social delivery channels. Most importantly, you will have the ability to develop instant rapport with clients, developing fruitful and long-term relationships with both new and old.

Broad role responsibilities include:
- Supporting the MD and Creative Director in developing the sales strategy
- Generating new leads and opportunities
- Actively developing business from new clients
- Building long lasting client and stakeholder relationships
- Putting together tenders, proposals and presentations
- Pitching and Winning new business
- Networking at events and trade shows
- Working with internal teams and the wider business
